How PhilCenter handles your records.
What PhilCenter records
Your name and contact details, your enrollment and assessment records, the payment proofs you upload, and a record of each sign-in — the date and time, the device or browser used, and the network address it came from.
Why it is kept
To assess your enrollment, verify payments made to the institutional bank account, issue your enrollment documents, and answer questions about your record. PhilCenter handles it in line with the Philippine Data Privacy Act (RA 10173) and uses it only to run your enrollment and payments.
Who can see it
Authorized registrar and accounting staff. Faculty accounts see teaching assignments and schedules only — never payments, assessments, private student records or internal notes.
How long sign-in records are kept
Sign-in records are kept for 90 days so that unusual access can be noticed and investigated, then removed. They are used for account security only.
Cookies this portal uses
Signing in sets a small number of cookies, all of them necessary for the portal to work: one pair keeps you signed in as you move between pages, one remembers whether you asked to stay signed in, and two more apply only to staff accounts — an inactivity timer and a record of a device that has already passed a second security check. The sign-in page also loads Cloudflare's bot check, which sets its own cookie to tell people from scripts. None of these are used for advertising and none are sold or shared. The portal also measures page views and loading speed to find slow pages; that measurement does not use cookies and does not identify you by name.
